Back in January, the Chairman of Nestle observed that "private label is for me the expression of the industry's failure to create value." There's certainly a lot of huge trends hammering the retail sector today -- the continuous appearance of new competitors being just one of them -- and so I'm off to keynote a leadership meeting for the organization. I'll be taking a look at the key trends that will 'rock the retail world,' and put into perspective how forward-oriented organizations are developing collaborative cultures that helps them respond to the rapid change swirling around them.
