Microsoft keynote presentation -- revisiting the digital business opportunity

I was recently retained by Microsoft to provide a series of cross-country keynote presentations and workshops for the CEO’s, CFO’s and CIO’s of key clients. I was asked to provide my insight and observations on the future of digital business. In addition, my customized presentation examined issues of corporate portals and business intelligence, as two distinct examples of effective technology use. I wrote the attached article subsequent to the event, which was distributed to Microsoft’s clients. [ adobe.gif article

What's in store for the meetings and conference industry?

I recently gave the closing keynote at a chapter of Meeting Professionals International (MPI); the theme was "Partnership". I was asked to provide, as an expert on innovation and trends, my thoughts and observations on the future of the meeting industry, and my perspectives on how partnerships could play a key role in the future of the industry. You can read a summary report of the presentation online. [ link ]

Many meeting planners have requested a video copy of the presentation, and it is now in the final stages of editing. If you are interested in a copy, please contact me.

I've placed online today a new presentation topic -- "Innovating For the Upturn:
Unleashing Your Potential In the Era of the 'New Normal' -- take a look. [ link ]

My adventures in work/life balance

My latest article at CAMagazine: "Over the years, I’ve proudly proclaimed I would never be sucked into the always-on, always-connected vortex. Then the kind folks at Research in Motion, makers of the Blackberry, sent me their new 6710 model, which doubles as an e-mail pager and cellphone." [ article ]

There's also an article that features a brief profile of my in that issue. [ article ]
